Wilda Bernice Waling, age 82, of Rensselaer passed away at the Jasper County Hospital May 9, 2010.
Wilda was born August 25, 1927 in Rensselaer, the daughter of the late Emelia B. (Zabel) and Lawrence E. Waling.
Wilda was a lifetime resident and a 1945 graduate of Rensselaer High School. She retired from Brooks Motor Sales where she was the bookkeeper for 22 years. Wilda was a member of the First Christian Church of Rensselaer.
Wilda is survived by Max Schultz, brother-in-law and Ruth Waling, sister-in-law, both of Rensselaer; Roger Schultz, Steve Waling, Chip Waling, Randy Waling and Mark Waling, nephews; Gail Roth, niece and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Betty Schultz, and two brothers, Delos Waling and Lawson Waling.
