Wilburn C. Fisher, 82, Anderson, died August 21, 2003 at the home of his son after an extended illness. He was born October 3, 1920 in Mecca, Indiana, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. He lived in this area since 1940. He retired in 1980 as a Tool & Die Maker from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 40 years of service. He served his country in the US Army during WWI in the Pacific Theatre. He was a member of Bethany Christian Church and the UAW Local #662. He is survived by his wife of 57 years whom he married in Marion, Indiana, Betty Thompson Fisher. One Daughter: Connie Plough of Anderson. One Son: Jeffrey ”Kent” & wife Ann Fisher of Middletown. Sister: Maryellen Bradley of Russiaville. Four Grandchildren: Jon & wife Tiffany Plough, Misty Plough, Douglas & wife Sherri Fisher and James & wife Vodkay Fisher. Great Grandchildren: Cassie Fisher, Kaylee Fisher, Alexis Fisher, Shaina Jenkins, Kelsey Ann Plough, Taylor Jo Plough. He was a father figure to Jon and Misty. Several Nieces & Nephews. A special thanks to Nurse Betty Hopkins, Dr. Kevin Luksus and Dr. Larry Blankenship. He was preceded by his Parents: Elmer & Essie Baldwin Fisher. Grandson: Gregory Alan Plough. Brother: William Fisher.
