Wilbur Lee Overholt, 82, of Germantown Hills, IL passed away at 2:03 pm on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on March 25, 1935 in Huntington, IN to Glen S. and Sarah M. (Chew) Overholt. He married Linda Sue Marchand on November 3, 1975 in Peoria, IL. She survives.
Also surviving are daughter Annette Overholt of Phoenix, AZ; son Aran Overholt of Davenport, IA; grandson Dustin Overholt and great-granddaughter Lilly Overholt both of Davenport, IA; twin sisters Marilyn Pugh of Markle, IN and Melba Harshbarger of Andrews, IN; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Edwin.
Wilbur served in the Army National Guard for nine years. He was an excellent carpenter and craftsman who enjoyed building his house. He was a member of the Central Illinois Carpenters from 1974 through 1997. Wilbur loved being outdoors and watching the squirrels and birds. He lived to play cards and table games with his family and friends.
