On Monday October 5, 2015, Wilbur Carpenter of Silver Spring, passed away in the comfort of his home. He was the beloved husband of the late Bertha Carpenter. He is survived by his son, Wilbur G Carpenter, Jr, and his daughter, Sheila Taylor-Agwu. He is also survived by his sisters, Marion Carlton, Barbara Davis, Julia Hammond and Jeanne Carpenter; three granddaughters, Patricia Carpenter, Shay Taylor and Kimberly Carpenter, and one grandson, Wilbur G Carpenter III, along with four great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
