Wilbur Dale Stephenson, 82, of Anderson, passed away on October 16, 2015, at the St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. He was born on July 9, 1933, in Orleans, Indiana and resided most of his life in Anderson. He served his country in the United States Air Force. After returning from the military, he worked and retired for Delco Remy. He was a member of the UAW #662. Dale enjoyed watching NASCAR, loved to go hunting and fishing, but most importantly he loved to work on anything with a motor.
Dale is survived by his grandsons, Seth Stephenson of Tallahassee, FL, Justin Stephenson (Megan Holt) of Anderson, Nick Jones of Anderson, Terry Jones of Anderson, Andrew Winn of Alexandria, Michael Gardner of Alexandria, and Peyton McGill of Alexandria; great-grandson, Braxton Stephenson; and daughter-in-law, Michelle Harrington. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Ruth Stephenson; mother, Nora Stephenson; and son, Jeffery Stephenson.
