Wilberta J. “Willie” Beebe age 81 of Midland died Sunday, April 20, 2014 at the Woodland Hospice in Mt. Pleasant, MI. The daughter of the late Charles A. and Mary I (Chambers) Perry was born on October 15, 1932 in Barryton, Michigan where she was raised and educated. On April 1, 1972 she married Newton Melvin Beebe and after 41 years of marriage he died on February 17, 2014. Willie attended Central Michigan University and had worked at the MidMichigan Medical Center as a General Dietician for 32 years until retiring in 1997. She enjoyed doing puzzles especially crossword puzzles. Willie’s favorite pastime was to spend time under the maple tree in her back yard with Melvin.
Willie is survived by step children, Ray (Shari) Beebe of Midland, Steve Beebe of Sanford, Bryan Beebe and friend Dena of Midland, Eddie (Lisa) Beebe of Lake, Michigan, Phyllis (Andy) Vanderbush of Carleton, Tammy Beebe of Midland; 17 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; her sisters, Dorothy Smith of Midland, Violet Acklin of Sanford; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband Willie was also preceded in death by sons, Bruce, Michael & Ronald Beebe; brothers, Bob Lipe and John Perry; sister, Bessie Washburn.
