Whitney “Whit” DeAnn Peck, age 25, died June 11, 2013 at her home in Plano, TX. She was born November 10, 1987 to Lori & Matt Peck in Dallas, TX. She graduated from Rockwall High School in 2006. Whit was always involved in cheerleading whether it was competitive, city league or school cheerleading. She liked the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, including shooting sports. She joined the U.S. Army in 2009 and was awarded Sharpshooter classification in her Army boot class at Fort Sam Houston. She became a combat medic and was presented with a General’s Coin for her work in the field while assigned to Fort Hood, Texas.
She is survived by her daughter, Parker Sophia, parents Lori & Matt Peck, sister Britney Peck, Grandmothers Eva Peck and Mary Russ, her aunt and uncle Tammy & Dick Rodriguez, Uncle Mike Peck, Aunts Mindy Harris and Melanie Cole, and Cousins, Justin & Heather Harris, Lindsey & Chris Judge, Ashley Peck and Jarrod, Connor & Amy Rodriguez. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Lloyd Peck and Bert Russ.
