Mr. Westley “Joe” Foster, age 61, of Opelika, Al., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 27, 2014, at his residence.
Mr. Foster is survived by his long time companion, Eileene Wadkins; son, Cody Foster of Lanett; precious granddaughter, Lexi Foster of Lanett; three sisters, Barbara Bailey of Valley, Cynthia Dale (George) Aikens of Valley, Deborah (Don) Berner of Locust Grove, Ga.; Brother, Tony (Chris) Foster of Valley; special niece, Michelle Jones (whom he always called Felecia); special nephew, Rodney (Bebo) Jones; niece, Jennifer Aikens; great niece Savannah Aikens; great nephew, Austin Aikens; friend, Ralph Moore.
Mr. Foster was born on March 19, 1953 in Chambers County, Alabama to the late West B. “Speedy” Foster and Annie Jewel Foster. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. He was a big fan of the University of Alabama and the Atlanta Braves. He was always playing and telling jokes. He will be greatly missed.
