Westley Homer Fulmer, age 82, of Salem, died at 9:19 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the Salem Regional Medical Center. He was born August 15, 1933 in Hancock County, West Virginia, the son of the late Wesley Lewis and Edith Mae (Winters) Fulmer.
He retired from the former Crucible Steel-Colt Industries and worked for the former Salem Republic Rubber as a warehouse manager for eight years and the former Quaker Security, and Bara Warehouse in Sebring. Westley was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
His wife, Sandra L. (Keenan) Fulmer whom he married July 20, 1950, preceded him in death December 30, 2011. Four brothers, Russell Fulmer, Morgan Fulmer, William “Herb” Fulmer, and Wayne Fulmer; and two sisters, Minnie Boley and Donna Riggle also preceded him in death.
Survivors include four daughters, Shirley Tharp of Hailey, Idaho, Sondra Hughes of Salem, Susan (Leon) Adams of Burley, Idaho, and Ginger (Sam) Bender of Salem; a sister, Lindy Duke of East Liverpool; and eleven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
