Weslee Alan Aldous passed away on August 18th, 2022. He was born March 6th, 1978 and was the first of four siblings. Wes is preceded in death by his wife Megan Marie Aldous, father Glenn Ray Aldous, grandmother Pauline Aldous, grandfather Jack Aldous, and grandmother Maxine Hopkins.

As a child Wes brought much laughter, he was quick witted and had a great sense of humor.  Wes loved his “Mama.” He kept the house immaculate for her and always had an adventure planned so they could spend time together. He and his mother were best friends in his younger years. Mackie was young when she had Wes, so they grew up together.

Wes loved to write songs and sang to you with his beautiful voice. We loved hearing him sing and tell jokes. He had a lot of hobbies, working out, collecting knives, target shooting  and martial arts. He liked to train his siblings how to block and kick. If you knew Wes, and he liked you, you most likely received a gift of a knife from him. He loved to give, especially awesome knives.. And he cooked the best spaghetti.

Wes said the best day of his life was the day Mackie and Glenn brought his sister Mistey home. He made a promise that day at seven years old to be the best brother ever and he was.

Wes worked at Cal Worthington Ford after high school and was promoted to sales manager in his early 20’s. He was an incredible sales trainer and motivator. He was great at identifying and developing talent in salespeople. And he invested in the success of many individuals during his career. He met the love of his life, Megan Sparrow. While working there, they were very successful in the industry.

Wes and Megan were married on June 2nd, 2002. They spent most of their spare time camping, four wheeling and fishing in Alaska with Megan’s parent’s, Mark and Shirley. They also enjoyed many vacations together-though he hated flying! And he loved to fly his family up to Alaska to spend time with them.

In 2011, Wes and Megan decided to move from Anchorage to Nampa Idaho to be closer to his family. Soon after we received the most wonderful news, they were expecting a baby girl, Sophie Marie Aldous. She was born January 25th, 2012. She is such a blessing to our family.  Shortly after Sophie arrived Megan began her fight with cancer. She fought a long, courageous battle but went home to be with Jesus on March 25th, 2016. Wes was heartbroken, they had been happily married for 14 years. He chose to spend all his time with Sophie. Boy, did he ever love his ”Sophie Lophie!” His heart belonged to her after losing Megan. He never let Sophie out of his sight. She was his everything! Wes spent the last five years at home with Sophie as a stay-at-home dad. Those years are irreplaceable.

He met Hannah Mahoney, June 2018 and began a life with her and her girls.
