Wendy Ann Stewart passed away June 14, 2019 at the age of 54. Wendy was born on April 28, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois, to Bernard and Joan DiCicco. She grew up a block away from Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Most nights you could find her and her friends at Jan & Dean concerts at Disneyland.
After high school, Wendy moved to Rigby, Idaho in 1987. She started working at AAA in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She met Ronald Shane Stewart at Bowl-Ero Lanes in 1990 and after a long 3 months of dating, Wendy and Shane were married on May 11, 1991. Two and a half years later, in 1994, their only daughter, Presley Ann Stewart, was born.
Wendy worked at AAA Idaho for 25 years and eventually moved to Boise, Idaho. After retiring from AAA Idaho, she worked at a few different companies before settling down at Suez Water, where she officially became “The Crazy Cat Lady” and at one point had ten cats.
Wendy enjoyed crafting, camping, cruising and loved to work on her back yard. She loved Elvis, The Beatles and her Ford Mustang.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Joan DiCicco, and the many cats that she has loved in the past. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Ronald Shane Stewart, her daughter, Presley Ann Stewart, and son-in-law, Alexander Prescott Stewart. Along with her sister, Lory Merk, her brothers, Bernard, Mike and Steve DiCicco. She also leaves behind her cats, Bruiser, Sirius, Olivia, Sapphire, Ponyboy, Soda Pop and Uggy.
Wendy had a zest for life and compassion for all people and creatures. We hope her impact on the world is remembered by all those she met and was an inspiration to.
