Wendy Kurney Age 62 of Corunna passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at her home.Funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Walden officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Tree Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6 to 8pm and Monday 2 to 8pm.Wendy was the daughter of Richard and Joanne (Brooks) Miller born in Owosso, MI on December 9, 1951.Wendy had worked at Shiawassee County Zoning, the County Clerk’s Office and 4H Extension.She married Eugene Kurney at Christ Episcopal Church on August 19, 1972.Wendy enjoyed gardening and sewing. She looked forward to time with her family and friends, especially with her grandchildren and watching all their sporting events and school activities.Wendy is survived by her husband Gene; children Emily (John) Rosser, Amanda (Ron) Mrva and Justin (Leann) Kurney; grandchildren Wyatt, Aubrey and Easton Rosser, Alan, Olivia and Ella Mrva, Anna, Melanie and Martin Kurney; mother Joanne; brother Kerby (Barb) Miller; sister Kim (Mike) Dugalech; mother-in-law Marie Kurney; sister-in-law WaynetteTopoliski; many nieces, nephews and special friends; She was predeceased by her father Richard Miller and father-in-law Wayne Kurney.Memorial contributions are suggested to Memorial Healthcare Hospice.Online condolences may be sent to the family at Nelson-House.com.
