Wendt G. Einfinger, 85, of Lavallette, NJ, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Browns Mills, NJ. He was born and lived in Berlin, Germany until his early 20’s, relocating to Geelong, Australia, before moving to Clifton, NJ where he met his wife, Eleanor. He built his home and they raised their family in Montville, NJ where he resided for 38 years, He was also a member of the Ocean Beach Surf Club Unit I since 1977. In 1999, he and Eleanor permanently retired to Lavallette (Ocean Beach). Wendt was a member of the Hawthorne Master Plumbers Association.
He was sole proprietor of Wendt G. Einfinger Plumbing & Heating since 1970. His passion was sailing. He acquired his captains license in 1997 which led him to journey with fellow shipmates to various ports of call which included Bermuda, Bahamas and Florida. His summers were spent sailing on Barnegat Bay.
Surviving are his loving wife, Eleanor, his son Eric, two daughters, Wendy and Heidi, four grandchildren, Bianca, Anthony, Ashley and Sandra, and a great granddaughter, Ava.
