Weldon P. Winterrowd, 90 passed away Thursday, January 29th at 7:39am at Wesleyan Healthcare Center in Marion after an extended battle with Alzheimers. He was born in Peru, Indiana on Septermber 4, 1924 to the late Hubert Clara Belle (Hann) Winterrowd.
He graduated from Kokomo High School in 1942 Weldon retired from Peerless Machine Company and was a member of Sweetser United Methodist Church, He loved to bowl, was an avid camper and enjoyed wintering in Florida, and playing cards with family and friends. He had been a member of the Sweetser Lions Club and the Good Sams Camping Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years Donna Brenneman Wintterrowd, brother Wilbur Wintterrowd, sister Leota Wintterowd and grandson Tommy Croft. He will be sadly missed by his Step-son Eddie (Terri) Strohl, Step-daughter Barb (Mark) Tucker, daughter Melody, grandsons Brian (Lori) Tucker and Sam (Tara) Strohl, sister Helen Brown-Hartford City, Lola (Bob) Banter-Warren, several great grand-kids and nieces and nephews.
