Weeda Harris Wood, 85, of 456 Laurel Drive, Martinsville, VA died Friday, March 4, 2011 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville/Henry County. Born on November 3, 1925 in Willis, VA, she was a daughter of the late Crawford and Lottie Harris. She was predeceased by four sisters and four brothers. Mrs. Wood was a member of Harris Chapel Methodist Church of Floyd County. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Thomas L. Wood of the residence; a special niece, Linda Harris Jacocks and husband Jake of Virginia Beach; a special nephew Mark Harris and wife Brenda of Roanoke, VA; a special nephew Donald L. Harris and wife Sandra of Dobson, NC and many other special nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Her loving smile and warm hugs will be missed by all.
