Webster Harmon Jr., a native and resident of St. Stephens, made his earthly transition Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019, while at Mobile Infirmary Hospital in Mobile. Born Sept. 29, 1944 to Webster Harmon Sr. and Carrie L. Howell Harmon, he was 75 years of age.
Webster was a member of James Chapel Baptist Church in St. Stephens, where he served as the president of the Usher Board. He retired as a chemical operator at Ciba. Fishing, gardening, and most of all washing his truck and keeping it clean were his favorite things to do.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Left to cherish his loving memories are his loving wife, Marion Jones Harmon of St. Stephens; three sons, Webster Harmon III of Thomasville, Eddie Lee Harmon and James Ludell Harmon, both of St. Stephens; four daughters, Juanita (Jeffery) Chapman of Grove Hill, Marilyn (Anthony) Jones of Jackson and Sonya Smith and Tonia McCaster, both of St. Stephens; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; five sisters, Carrie Harmon and Geraldine Harmon, both of St. Stephens, Annie Jones, Eva Avie and Catherine Abston, all of California; two brothers, Andrew (Joann) Harmon of Mobile and Isaiah (Eloise) Harmon of California; with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
