Wayne Roeder, 83, of Ottawa, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa. Wayne was born November 10, 1928 in Deer Park Township to Wesley and Leona (Hammack) Roeder. He married Roberta Joyce Riley on June 19, 1947 in Deer Park Church.
He later married Thelma Brisette on December 12, 1998 in Thompsonville. He was a mechanic and operated a filing station and garage in Jonesville. He also worked at Whitmore Chevy garage in Ottawa. He was an Auctioneer at local are auction barns and he owned Wayne’s Bargain Center in Ottawa. He was a member of Greater Love Faith Tabernacle in Logan.
He is survived by six children, Lovina Tisler of Wisconsin Dells, WI, Wanda (Richard) Todd of Ottawa, Richard (Laura) Roeder of Mendota, Ronald (Doreen) Roeder of Chenoa, Sharon (Ray) Reynolds of Ottawa and Shirley (Alan) Owens of Bolingbrook; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife; Roberta; his second wife, Thelma and two brothers, Don and Richard.
