Wayne P. Levesque, 42, of Bristol, passed away on Thursday April 28, 2011, with his loving family beside him, after a 3 ½ year battle with Cancer. He leaves his beloved and devoted wife of 14 yrs. Lori (Plasczynski) Levesque. Wayne was born on August 22, 1968 in Hartford to Delman and Gertrude Levesque.
Wayne was a lifelong resident of Bristol, where upon 21 years ago he met his soul mate Lori and made their home. He was employed for more than 10 years with Elite Systems as an HVAC technician. He enjoyed skiing and snowboarding and loved his motocross and mountain biking, along with watching NASCAR, the Boston Red Sox and the History and Discovery Channels. Wayne and Lori took many trips, including their special yearly weekend trips to Woodstock, VT. Anyone who knew Wayne knew he had an infectious zest for life. He was always the life of the party, listening to his RUSH and METALLICA music and making everyone smile. To many, he was also known as W. He will be forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew him.
Along with his loving wife Lori of Bristol, he leaves his parents Delman and Gertrude Levesque of Bristol; his sister Sheri Denehy and her husband John of East Hampton; his in-laws Don and Roseanna Plasczynski of Bristol, his brother in-law, sister in-law and niece and nephew, all of Bristol, many friends and his best companion his cat Garfey. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center, especially Dr. Kamradt and nurse Laurie; along with the staff at the Conklin Building CB2 and nurse Jen for all of their care and support through this difficult time.
