Wayne Laurence Steed, 79, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Haven Hospice in Orange Park, FL. He was born in Mesquite, TX, on February 1, 1936.
Wayne proudly served in the United States Navy for 31 years, and later retired from a second career at Winn-Dixie in 2005.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Sandra Martin Steed; two sons, Donald Steed and Craig (Debbie) Steed; three daughters, Waynell (Brian) Warren, Sheri (Martin) Atkinson and Shawda (Mike) Quinn; three step-children, Sheilah Marcum (Joe) Gibson, Jim Marcum and Jason (Kristi) Marcum; 10 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Wayne will be missed by all who knew him.
