Wayne J. Miller, 95, of Lafayette passed away, on Veterans Day, Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Mulberry Health and Rehabilitation Center, Mulberry.
He was born June 18, 1926, in Lafayette to the late Luther and Nellie (Johnson) Miller. He was a 1944 graduate of Stockwell High School and a proud veteran of the United States Army. Wayne was a farmer, babysitter, caretaker, and friend to all.
He is survived by his nephew, Larry (Linda) Miller of Lafayette; niece, Kathy (Dave) Smith of Wabash; great nieces and nephews, Brad (Beth) Miller, Brett (Beth) Miller, Brian (Miss Kay) Hardy, Mark (Prudence) Miller, Jessica Mellady, all of Lafayette, Monica Elder of Michigan, and Jay Smith and Janette (Ken) Thomas, both of Leo, several great-great nieces and nephews; and special friend, Rachel Trent.
Along with his parents, Luther and Nellie, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Fay Miller and John Miller; nephews and nieces, Ronald Dean Miller, Merle Miller, Karen Mellady, Judy Miller, and Jennifer Cady.
