Anderson – Wayne Huffman Jr., 77, Anderson, passed away March 16, 2010 at Community Hospital, Anderson after an extended illness.
He was born March 20, 1932 in Lapel, Indiana, and resided in Madison County all of his life. Wayne served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired in 1988 from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 38 years of service. He was a member of the UAW Local #662. Wayne loved farming and helping his father with the work horses. He loved Boxer Dogs, especially the four he had during his lifetime. He was very devoted to his wife, especially during her illness. He is survived by his sister, Faye Turner of Anderson; niece, Judy & husband John Best of Anderson and several other nieces and nephews; and special friend, Marilyn Branham.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Jean Thurber Huffman; parents, William & Lella Sisson Huffman and seven siblings.
