Wayne E. “Pop” Howell, 73, of 1111 Memorial Avenue, died Sunday, October 3, 2010 at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
Pop enjoyed fishing, singing, playing the guitar, listening to music, watching wrestling and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler’s fan.
Born September 26, 1937 in Clarksburg, WV, he was the son of Audrey A. and Helliey L. Byers Howell.
Surviving are a son, Ryan O. (Stephanie) Howell of Williamsport; brothers, Harold of Jacksonville, FL and Bearl of Roanoke, VA; sisters, Patricia Dempsey of Pittsburgh, Charlotte McAfee of Springfield, MO and Wanda Stimmell of Belle Vernon; grandchildren, Sabrina A., Samantha N. and Zachary R. Howell and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pop was predeceased by brothers Mearl and Chuck Howell.
