Wayne E. Chrisman 78 passed away on Jan 7, 2014 at 10:03am in his residence. He was born on Sept 23, 1936 in West Terre Haute to Ray Chrisman and Hilda Hants Chrisman. He was retired from the Terre Haute Gas Co. He was a member of the United Steel Workers of America Local 7441. He was known by his fellow workers as “Big Indian”.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Art Chrisman, Jack Chrisman, Dave Chrisman, Danny Chrisman and Billy Joe Chrisman. His sisters Doris Houser and JoAnn Crumrin.
He is survived by his wife Cora Sue Collins Chrisman of Clinton, his daughter Debbie & John Roskovensky of Clinton, his two sons; Doug & Jamie Chrisman of Harmony and Darin & Angel Chrisman of Dana. Two brothers; Jim Chrisman and Kenny Chrisman and a sister Ilene Ellingsworth. Grandchildren; Brandon (Emily) Endress, Noel Endress, Jacob Roskovenksy, David Chrisman, Darah (Matt) Anderson, Andrea Chrisman, Brandon McMahon and Lance McMahon. Great grandchildren; Lane Milner, Hunter Milner, Evan Anderson, Brinlee Anderson, Samuel Chrisman and Luke McMahon. Also, several nieces and nephews.
