Wayne E. Brown, age 75 of Sanford died Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at his home. The son of the late Harold and Sally (Morse) Brown was born May 15, 1937, in Vassar. Wayne married the former Marijo (Kilbride) Cuyler on November 1, 1975, in Saginaw. After nearly 34 years of marriage, she predeceased him on May 6, 2009. Wayne had worked for General Motors’ former Saginaw Steering Gear for 30 years, retiring in 1999. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, and working in his yard and on cars.
Mr. Brown is survived by his children, Richard Brown of Cass City, Diane (David) Thornsberry of Kalispel, Montana, Yvonne (Dan) Simon of Twining, Julie (Kent) Childs of Helena, Montana, Wayne (Kathleen) Cuyler, Jr. of Sanford, Timothy (Diane) Cuyler of Sanford, Patti Jo Pickelman of Midland; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and two sisters.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his son, Wayne E. Brown, Jr.; and sister, Jackie.
