Wayne Douglas Karber, age 71 and a resident of St. Johns, Michigan died at his home on July 15, 2024.Wayne was born in St. Johns, Michigan on May 1, 1953, the son of Richard and Donna (Droste) Karber, and grew up in St. Johns, where he was a graduate of St. Johns High School class of 1971. He made his career as a die setter with Federal Mogul in St. Johns before retiring after thirty-five years. On July 10, 2015 he married Camilla Foster in St. Johns where they made their home. Wayne loved fishing, bowling, golfing, and hunting and playing cards with family and friends at Camp Bear Paw and Camp Buckshot in northern Michigan. He loved making people laugh with his jokes and great sense of humor, listening to music and always sought to be close with family and friends. He will be dearly missed.In addition to his beloved wife Cam, and her sons, Keith and Grant Bond, and grandson, Jaxon, he leaves his siblings, Mike (Sharon) Karber, Ken (Deb) Karber, LeAnn (Brent) Blackman, Barb (Jeff) Feldpausch, and numerous nieces, nephews, dear friends, and his beloved companion Dachshund, Lucy.He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Donna Karber, his sister, Carmen Karkau, and nephews, Jacob Cantrell and Bryce Blackman.
