JOHNSON, Wayne Anthony “Tony”. In East Boston at age 39 in a drowning accident on Sept. 28. Beloved son of Rebecca (Metrick) and Elvan Wayne Johnson of East Boston and Tallahassee, FL. Also survived by his sister Desiree Johnson of East Boston, his longtime love and friend, Nicole Castiello, half brothers; Nicholas A. Metrick of Rochester, NH, Eugene F. Rector of Bridgewater and Juan Jose Johnson of Batesville, AR and nephews Alexander McCusker and Michael Ash. Tony was the nephew of Richard F. Welch and Jenny Exas, both of NH and many other aunts and uncles in FL. GA and LA. Tony most recently worked as a delivery driver for Muzzy’s Florist and also as a carpenter and handyman. He enjoyed playing guitar and cooking for friends and family.
