Wayne Anthony Duszczak, 68, of Seaside Heights, NJ, passed away Saturday, April 03, 2021. Born in Newark, NJ, he lived in Irvington, NJ before moving to Seaside Heights approximately 40 years ago.
Wayne was a Fiber Optic Installer for Bell Telephone for many years, which later became Verizon.
Throughout his life, Wayne had many interests, hobbies and accomplishments. Wayne built and raced sports cars, owned and piloted his own Cessna airplane, was an outdoorsman, and participated in many athletic disciplines. Wayne was a avid photographer, boat and motorcycle enthusiast and a savvy businessman. Wayne was well known for his “MacGyver” qualities. With master technical abilities, there was nothing he could not repair or restore. Wayne shared generously these talents and abilities with his family and friends.
Wayne served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was predeceased by his wife, Joann (nee Carbone) in 2010 and his father Anthony C. Duszczak.
Wayne is survived by his son Anthony Duszczak of Brick, NJ; his mother Helen Duszczak Specht of Groveland, Florida; his two sisters Anita Duszczak Alliston of Berkeley Twp., NJ and Tara Specht Furman of Land O’ Lakes, Florida and extended family.
