Wasyll Gina, 90, of New Haven passed away May 16, 2011 in MilfordHospital. Born in New HavenJuly 7, 1920, he was the son of the late Oleksa and Yawdocha Gina. He worked as an assistant auditor at First Federal Savings and Loan Association, now Webster Bank, until his retirement in 1982. During World War II, he served in the US Army in the India Burma Theater. He was a Staff Sergeant at the time of his discharge in 1946.  While stationed at Camp Pickett, VA., he presented to the USO a Ukrainian National Flag which was a member to the United Nations. He was transferred to Camp Claiborne, LA.
