Born December 8, 1927, in Rowan County, he was a son of the late Elmer and Cora Mae Esham Plank. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Cooper Planck; a daughter, Carol Bushey; four brothers, Guy Plank, Homer Plank, Ray Plank, and J.D. Plank; and a grandson, Kavin Archer.
Warren was a carpenter and a former school bus driver for Rowan County Board of Education.
