Warren Russell Seats, 84 of Iuka, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Mt. Vernon Countryside Manor in Mt. Vernon.
He was born November 16, 1929 in Vandalia, son of Roy Seats and Frances (Burns) Seats.
He married Judith Pruitt on June 24, 1977 in Centralia and she survives in Iuka.
In addition to his wife of 37 years, he is also survived by a son, Mark Seats of Centralia; two daughters: Judy Paskavich and husband John of Centralia and Joni Brookshire and husband Rick of Woodlawn; 8 grandchildren; two step-daughters: Leslie Thomas of Lakeport, CA and Jan Fowler of Florida; 7 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son: Kent Seats and two brothers: Alden Seats and Roy Seats.
Warren worked as a Building Contractor for many years. He assisted with building the St. Louis Arch. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. His family referred to him as a workaholic. He enjoyed carpentry. He was a member of the Evergreen Christian Church in Salem.
