Stewart Warren Polen, of Manassas, Virginia died on Friday, January 19, 2018 at his home. He was born January 5, 1930 in Prince William County, Virginia and lived his entire life in Prince William County and Manassas, Virginia. Warren was a graduate of Osbourn High School and a veteran of the Korean War. Afterwards he worked for HESCO in Manassas and subsequently was the co-owner of Showcase Furniture also in Manassas. Warren retired and closed Showcase Furniture in 2013. He was the son and youngest child of the late John Morris Polen and Virginia May Hoffman and is preceded in death by his nine siblings. He is also preceded in death by his first wife of 53 years, Mary Lou Trimmer Polen, and his son-in-law, Talmadge Rutledge. Survivors include his loving wife of 7 years Martha C. Garman, his six children Ronda Polen Brown, Michael (Renee) Polen, Lisa Polen Rutledge, David (JoAnn) Polen, Alison (Larry) Hart, Amy (Danny) Daniels, step-son Brian (Lisa) Garman, fourteen grandchildren (Matthew, William, Christopher, Creed, Blake, Mark, Samantha, Melissa, Patrick, Brooke, Ryan, Madison, Megan, and Blake), one great granddaughter (Brooklyn), other nieces and nephews, and his only remaining in-law (sister), Fanelle C. Polen.
