Warren Kelly Reynolds, 86, of Sierra Vista, Arizona and formerly of Modesto, Illinois died February 20, 2015 at his home in Arizona.
Mr. Reynolds was born February 17, 1929 in the Berdan community of Greene County, IL, the son of Leslie and Bessie Kelly Reynolds. He married Donna Jean Lamkular on June 14, 1959 at the Literberry Christian Church in Literberry, Illinois and she survives.
He is also survived by a daughter, Kelly Norling (husband, Bill) of Phoenix, AZ; three grandchildren, Scott, Karen and Chris; a brother, Kenyon Reynolds of Barry; a sister, Janet Schaller (husband, Norman) of Quincy; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his step father, L.A. Flick of Barry; and one sister, Vivian Luck of Hannibal, Missouri.
He attended Berdan and Union Elementary Schools and graduated from New Canton High School. He served in Korea with the US Army Air Corps stationed at an overhaul depot where he was a helicopter mechanic.
Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds lived in the Barry area early in their married life where he started farming. They later moved to Modesto where they farmed until moving to Arizona for health purposes in 1980. While in Modesto, he was an active member of the Modesto Christian Church, the Palmyra Lions Club, and served on the Macoupin County Farm Bureau Board. He is now a member of First Christian Church in Sierra Vista. Warren and Donna were long time campers and traveled extensively all over the USA and most continents.
