Warren Eugene Snyder, 80, Anderson, died January 12, 2004 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after an extended illness. He was born April 7, 1923 in Hope, Indiana, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. He went to work in 1942 at Delco Remy Division of General Motors and was then drafted into the US Navy in March of 1943. After the war, he returned to Delco and retired from Plant 7 as a utility man in 1974. He was a graduate of Hope High School. He served his country in the US Navy as a Seaman 1st Class during WWII. He attended Highland Baptist Church. He was a member of the UAW #662, the American Legion, Fraternal Order of Police and Commanders Club D.A.V. He enjoyed sports, but fishing and hunting were his favorites. He liked all outside animals, especially his birds, which he fed daily. His special love was his cat ”Sugar Plum”. He is survived by his One Daughter: Dianna & husband Stephen Aldred of Anderson. One Son: Michael E. & wife Pamela Snyder of Ft. Wayne. Sister: Mary Miller of Hope. Sister-in-law: Trilla Snyder of Richland. Special Nephews: Gill Snyder of Anderson. Larry & wife Carolyn Snyder of Frankton. Four Grandchildren: Bobby L. Flowers of Indianapolis. Scott A. Flowers of Alexandria. Shane Snyder of Churubusco. Susan M. & husband Shawn Cripe of Churubusco. Four Great Grandchildren: Whitney Flowers, Zachary Flowers, Nicholas Flowers and Jacob Flowers. Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Special friends at Nick’s Restaurant on Broadway. He was preceded by his First Wife: Mary K. Brandenberg Snyder. Second Wife: Opal P. Scroghins Snyder on July 27, 1997. Parents: George & Nona Burns Snyder.
