Warren David Brown, age 80, a resident of Albuquerque since 1970, died Monday, September 5, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Danielle; two daughters, Allison Brown and Stephanie Brown; three grandchildren, Peter Brown, Eve Lyford, and Willa Lyford; sister, Maryanne Ellis; niece, Michelle Cromarty; his former wife, Patricia Brown; and other relatives and many friends. Warren was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Roger and Gene Brown. He was born in 1936 in Tacoma, WA and after high school attended the College of Puget Sound and received his PhD in Physics from the University of Washington. Warren moved to Albuquerque where he worked at Sandia National Labs for 25 years, retiring in 1996. He loved to hike, read, mountain bike, and write Haiku poetry. Warren was well known for his sense of humor and love of people and life. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
