Waneta Louise (Greaver) Snell, 78, graduated to Glory on July 20, 2010 at 6:20am at her residence surrounded by her family in Hepzibah, WV. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Sarah May (Hess) Greaver of Clarksburg, WV. She was united in marriage on June 30, 1947, in Garrett County, Oakland, MD, by the Reverend Denver C. Pickens to the late Lawrence Robert Snell who preceded her in death on July 1, 1982. Mrs. Snell was educated in Harrison County Public Schools. She attended West Virginia Business College, where she graduated in 1973 with a Diploma in Nursing Assistance. To pursue her Medical Education, she entered the Clarksburg School of Practical Nursing located in the United Career Center at Gore, where she graduated with the class of 1975. Mrs. Snell was an employee of Saint Mary’s Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse, and also did Private Duty Nursing at United Hospital Center until she opened her own Personal Care Home in Hepzibah, where she cared for her own son, Roger, along with elderly, the handicapped and homeless veterans until her death.
