Wanda Mae (Jamison) Nikirk, 91, of Bloomington went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 16, 2012. She passed at her residence. Born September 20, 1921 in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Claude and Eda (Wright) Jamison.
Wanda was an Evangelist for the International United Pentecostal Church in St. Louis for 62 years. She was a loving wife, sister and aunt who enjoyed her ministry, reading, music and housekeeping in her home.
Survivors include her sister, Lorene B. Loveland of Bloomington and several nieces and nephews. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, William E. “Bill” Nikirk (1997), one sister, Thelma R. Goble (2008), two brothers, Harold D. Jamison (1991) and infant Dale E. Jamison.
