Wanda Nicolson, age 82, of Wallingford, died April 1, 2006 in Midstate Medical Center. Mrs. Nicholson was born in N.Y.C., N.Y. and was a longtime Trumbull resident before moving to Meriden five years ago. She retired from the CT Post newspaper after many years of service. She was predeceased by her husband, John Nicolson and her sister, Helen Staron. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Frances Sperrazza and her husband, Jim of Wallingford, her sister, Frances Hodgson of Welden, N.Y., three grandchildren, Victoria, Alexandra and Jimmy Sperrazza and several nieces and nephews.
