Wanda Lou Maple, 88
Wanda Lou Maple, 88, of Silverton, Idaho, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus, on December 21, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Silver Wood Village of Silverton; heaven just got sweeter. She was born November 29, 1934 in Madill, Oklahoma; Wanda was the daughter of Ernest and Vernie (Stacy) Wilson.
Wanda attended schools in Oklahoma and California. She moved to the Silver Valley in August of 2020 from Fresno, California.
Wanda had first served as a Car Hop for the Pixie Drive-In of Fresno, California; she then worked as Office Manager for an auto dismantling company also of Fresno. And lastly, Wanda served as an Apartment Manager in Fullerton, California; she then retired.
Wanda was active in Veterans Organizations- the Central Valley Vets of Fresno, California and she was a member of the AARP.
Wanda is survived by her sister Julie Robbins of Osburn and her brother Ron (Anita) Wilson of Spokane Valley, Washington; numerous nieces and nephews; one son Charles and Eleanor Roberts of Long Beach, California and two grandsons Michael and Jon Roberts. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Bud Wilson, two sisters Sharon Ellis and Mary Holt, her niece Bridgette Wilson and her husband William Maple.
