Wanda L. Hurst, 77, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe. Wanda was born September 3, 1939 in Fleming County to the late Virgil and Lola Gladys Sapp Planck. Wanda was retired from Fleming County Hospital where she had been the housekeeping supervisor for 19 years.
Wanda was a longtime member of Wallingford Holiness Church. Survivors include her husband of 59 years Donnie Hurst; children Mark, Kenny and Jeffery Hurst; siblings Terry Planck and Lonnie Planck; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Wanda was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren and her parents.
