Wanda L. Hitchcox, a lifelong resident of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away October 14, 2021. She was the daughter of Ray and Flora (Moffit) Rhodes.
She was a member of Burgoon Baptist Church and also attended Bloomington High School. She had worked for RCA and as executive housekeeper for Howard Johnson and Comfort Inn hotels in Bloomington.
She is survived by: daughter, Kay Rodman of Bedford, Indiana; son, Larry (Tonia) Hitchcox of Bedford, Indiana; 10 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Puckett of Bloomington, Indiana, Norma Frye of Gosport, Indiana and Ramona Gatewood of Evansville, Indiana; brother, Robert Morgan of Louisiana; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hitchcox; daughter, Cheryl Mack; son, Robert Hitchcox; sister, Nancy Field; and brothers, Ronnie Rhodes and Bobby Rex Rhodes.
