Wanda Jane “Janie” Hocking
Wanda Jane Hocking (Janie) passed away peacefully August 25, 2016 after a hard fought battle with cancer. She refused to let her illness define her and remained active and involved with family and friends until her death. Janie was born a twin on November 12, 1946 to Ray “Rosie” & Helen Day. She grew up in Deary and graduated from Deary High School in 1965. In 1966, she and Darrell Johnson were married and they had two children, Shannon and Christina. While their marriage later ended in divorce, they remained great friends.
