Wanda G. Choate, 76, of Celina, passed away on October 2, 2013, at her residence in Celina, TN. She was born on September 1, 1937, in Anderson, Indiana, and resided most of her life in Anderson. She was a homemaker.
She loved to listen to country music, cook, sew, and dance. Wanda is survived by her loving four children Christina Joseph Choate of Anderson, daughter, Linda James Phillips of Celina, Tennessee, daughter, Angie Johnnie Robertson of Anderson, son, Loyd Angela Choate Jr. of Muncie, son, Terry Morine Shell of Indiana, brother, James Carol Parkhurst, sister, Sandy Shell, 22 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd A. Choate; her parents, Mary L. Flory and James R. Parkhurst; siblings, Harold Parkhurst, Floyd Parkhurst, Pearl Parkhurst, Alice Cooper, Orie Parkhurst, Robert Parkhurst, and Phyllis Parkhurst; and one grandchild, Sandra Damron.
