Walter Zavacky, 91, of Bethlehem, died Monday, December 31, 2007, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the husband of Anna (DelVillaggio) Zavacky. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Anthony and Mary (Surecieka) Zavacky. Until retiring in 1979, he was employed by the Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 40 years in the 16″ Rolling Mill. He was a member of Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church in Bethlehem and the MORA Club. He was an avid hunter and fly fisherman who enjoyed tying his own flies. Survivors: his loving wife of 67 years Anna, at home; sister Mary Purcell of Wheaton, MD; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Louis and sister Pauline Skibo.
