Williamsport, Maryland- Walter William “Wolfie” Wolfe, Sr.
Born March 26, 1929 in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Arthur Roy and Annie Belle Shank Wolfe.
He was preceded in death by his wife Anna Mae Wolfe in 1995.
He worked for Pangborn Corporation in Hagerstown and retired from PSI in Williamsport. Wolfie was also the Cook at Sam’s Busy Corner in Williamsport for 53 years.
He was a member of Calvary Temple in Williamsport.
He was also a member of American Legion Post#202 in Williamsport and the Amvets Post#10 in Hagerstown.
Wolfie is survived by his sons Shawn M. Wolfe of Hagerstown and Walter W. Wolfe, Jr. of Martinsburg, WV, a daughter Vickie L. Kotval of Blue Ridge, VA, a sister Lucy Baker of Winchester, VA, 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter Sandra D. Souders, a sister Myrtle Kuhn and 4 brothers Theodore, Robert, Samuel and Joseph Wolfe.
