Walter ‘Wally” J. Pasowicz, 76, of Glen Burnie, passed away peacefully on Mar. 14, 2018 at home surrounded by his family.
Wally was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Theodore and Nora (Czarnecki) Pasowicz. Walter served in the Army from 1961 until 1964. While stationed at Fort Meade he laid eyes on Frances Ann McCrory and knew she would be his wife, and on August 21, 1964 they were married. Walter worked for Alco Gravure as a photo engraver for over 30 years. His work ethic later led him to opening his own Carpet Cleaning business. However with his selfless and giving spirit one of his most rewarding jobs was his volunteer work in retirement for Bello Machre, an organization that helps families of the disabled. Wally enjoyed horses, deer hunting, and fishing. However his greatest passion was his family he would drop whatever he was doing to come to their assistance when in need. He will be remembered by his family and community as a, “Compassionate True Gentleman”.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves to cherish precious memories, his wife, Frances Ann Pasowicz; daughters, Michelle Ann Gentry, Lisa Marie Pasowicz, and Mandy Lee Pasowicz; granddaughter, Joelle Arlington Gentry; son by love, Fredrick Moore; siblings, Bernice Baski, and Chester Pasowicz; a host of nieces, nephews, loving in-laws, and special friends.
