Walter W. Whitaker, 84, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2007 in Alamogordo.
He is survived by his daughters, Melanie Whitaker and Rhon Sheffield; a nephew, Buddy Baker; a niece, Shirley Green and two granddaughters.
Special thanks go to the Otero Oncology Center and his many friends for their support during his lengthy bout with cancer. No service is planned.
