On January 12, Walter Uzialko of Baltimore passed away at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore from a brief battle with cancer. He was the loving husband to Virginia Uzialko for 52 years; devoted father to Pat Richter, Marge Loyd and June Lewis; caring brother to Stanley and Paul Uzialko and Irene Ferraro; loving grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 9.
In his younger years, Mr. Uzialko worked in the coal mines of Pennsylvania, but ended up retiring as a machinist in 1993. He was a proud member of the Air Force from 1947 -1950 in which he was a morse code operator.
Walter was the treasurer and past president of th Roland Terrace Democratic Club in Brooklyn Park, Maryland and the Eagles Club – Baltimore Past President. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, playing cards, fishing, football, baseball and loved his BEER!
