Mr. Walter Thomas Humphrey, age 54, of Lanett passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
Mr. Humphrey was born on November 7, 1961 to Emma Jean Humphrey and the late, Ray Humphrey.
He is survived by his mother, Emma Jean Humphrey, Valley; sisters, April Jean (Andy) Pugh, Valley, Mattie (Davey) Brown, Valley; nephews, Tony (Dawn) Brown, Lake Harding Community, Jeremiah (Lauren) Pugh, Valley; nieces, Andrea (Nathaniel) Barber, Lanett, Teresa (Billy) Peacock, Lanett; 11 great nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Thomas and Emmie Barker and Thomas Andrew and Mattie Ethel Humphrey.
Walter was a quiet man who kept to himself. He attended Lanett Church of the Nazarene.
