Walter Stephen Slaughter, 80, of Jessup, passed away on February 5, 2022. He was born in Gassaway, West Virginia, to the late William and Dolly Slaughter. Walter served his country proudly in the United States Army achieving the rank of Sergeant First Class, retiring after 22 years of faithful service.
Walter is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Judy S. Slaughter; his loving children, Marty (Julia) Slaughter and Sherri (Scott) Smith; his cherished grandchildren, Courtney, Tabitha, Sabrina, and William; and his beloved great-grandchildren, David, Kenzie, Anthony, and Marilyn; and his faithful pet Maddie. Also surviving is his brother, Fred Slaughter. Walter was predeceased by his siblings, William Slaughter Jr. and Louise Mollohan.
