On Friday, May 15, 2015, Walter Stanislawski, 95, passed away peacefully at his home. Born in Poland on May 7, 1920, he was the son of the late Frank & Josephine (Milewski) Stanislawski. He had served the Polish Army during WWII and was a member of the General Haller Post II. Prior to retirement, he was employed with Fafnir Bearing, giving 30 years of dedicated service. He was predeceased by his wife Jean (Buczkowski) Stanislawski. He is survived by a longtime companion Celina Waldowski and Celina’s family, the Raszkiewicz’s, which Walter lovingly adopted as his own.
